Directions

Follow E10 (from the northern roundabout at Leknes) north towards Svolvær (about 4 km).
Turn left (west) onto Leiteveien (825). Follow this about 1.5 km.
Drive straight ahead into Vikveien. Follow this about 8,4 km.
Turn right at the crossroads of Voieveien (990)/Uttakleivveien, and follow the Utakleivveien road about 800 m.
You are now at the parking lot at Haukelandstrand.

Highlight

Haukeland Beach has a lot to offer.

The beach is approximately 460 m wide and is covered with white coral sand. At the beach there is a large grass lane where you can set up a tent. Here you will meet people from many different nations in the summer. There is also some space for caravans in the parking lot.

The beach lays beautiful between mountains and sea. On the beach there is room for many people and a lot of activity. In addition, you can go hiking in the mountains or just walk along the old road to the charming village of Utakleiv.

And in the evening you can sit looking the evening sun reflecting in the ocean or strolling barefoot along the shore.
