Location

The picnic area is on the right side of the road when you come from the north, and have passed the top of the high-rise Torvdalshalsen.

Directions

Drive about 50.6 km (40 min) along the E10 from Svolvær towards Leknes/Å. Or 16.8 km (14 min) from Leknes north along the E10 towards Svolvær.

Description of the attraction

From the picnic area on Torvdalshalsen you have the best view along the E10 on Vestvågøya. The picnic area has a long wall and benches. The wall captures the solar heat and screens for wind and weather.

Difficulty and time use

Very easy. The picnic area is located at the parking lot.
